Our Enterprise Managed Hosting Services are designed to accommodate the dedicated server hosting needs of businesses that require custom options and services. Some of these solutions require varying numbers of servers for virtualization, load balancing, databases, firewalls, or other special uses. Our expanded selection of Dell, HP, IBM and Sun server hardware can be leased or purchased. If you elect to lease server hardware from Consort, full hardware maintenance and sparing will be provided as part of the service.Enterprise Software
With Consort's Enterprise Hosting Platform there are two software options; (1) Included and (2) Supported.
Included software consist of the operating systems, utilities, and application software that is pre-installed on a selected managed server offering. The customer has the option of requesting that certain software not be pre-installed. As a convenience, Consort licenses and maintains all pre-installed software.Supported software includes any operating system, utility, or application that our staff has knowledge of as well as a relationship with the software vendor. This enables Consort support technicians to work directly with the vendor for trouble shooting, reporting, resolution, maintenance and upgrades. This product license related service is available upon authorization by the customer.
